RSU Radio’s Top 10 Countdown – 09/14/2025

todaySeptember 14, 2025

Background

New names on this week but don’t worry – it’s still the Top 10! First, it was a banner year at Forth Wanderers household, going from #5 last week to #2 this week. Night Moves makes some big moves, taking Double Life from #6 last week to #3 this week. Wombo is in limbo, as their album, Danger in Fives, remains stuck at #4; and OK Cool got carried away in conversation, with Chit Chat falling back down to #5. However, it’s summer all year long for De’Wayne’s album, June, as it remains at #1 for its third week in a row!

Some new names this week as well as some returning favorites, with Osees’ Abomination Revealed at Last stopping by at #6 and Alex G’s Headlights lighting the way to #9. The Beths showed us their best, earning Straight Line was a Lie our #10 spot. Is T Hardy Morris working hard or Hardy working? Working hard it seems, with Artificial Tears dethroning Hotline TNT for #8. They stack it pretty high these days, as made evident by Pile’s album, Sunshine and Balance Beams, taking #7 – giving Qualifying Miles the boot.

A lot of good bands and a lot of great new songs, but even the sweetest of dreams come to an end as Subsonic Eye’s Singapore Dreaming says “sayonara” after six long weeks in the Top 10. We Are Scientists’ album Qualifying Miles waves goodbye from the terminal, and Hotline TNT calls a cab as they leave the 10 this week. We saw The Happy Fits at #10 last week but didn’t see “Do You See Me” this week. And finally, Wet Leg may be moisturized but they just couldn’t crack it this week – but if you liked them be sure to check out You Might Also Like… Wet Leg.

The Artist to Keep an Eye out For this week is the ever-animated CARRTOONS with their latest single “Labor of Love” featuring Haile Supreme. “Labor of Love” comes from their upcoming album, SPACE CADET, and is one of four tracks currently available to stream.
