Small Crush - Penelope

Small Crush is kind of like if you drew a smiley face and glued googley-eyes to a Wet Leg song. Logan Hammon’s vocals and heartfelt lyrics pair with infectious rhythms to create an angsty, yet optimistic sound. Their most recent album, Penelope, released last year with some new songs as well as some rerecordings of previous tracks – with a bit more pizazz. Small Crush’s tour led them to the Vanguard in Tulsa back in 2023, opening for Jeff Rosenstock and playing alongside Georgia Maq.

Automatic - Is it Now?

Is it Now? Is the 3rd album from Los Angeles post-punk band, Automatic. Featuring Izzy Glaudini on the synthesizer, Halle Saxon on the bass, and Lola Dompé on the drums, Automatic has been together since they met in the D.I.Y scene of L.A in 2017. After their first album, Signals, in 2019 they began to open for acts like Bauhaus – who is actually Dompé’s very own father. They have since shared stages with the likes of Tame Impala, IDLES, and Parquet Courts. Is it Now? releases on September 26th, with three songs out now.

Enjoy - The Sound of Deceit

From Orange County, California, Enjoy is the solo project of Wyatt Shears. Wyatt got his start around 2010 as a member of Ms. Hannah’s Victims with his twin brother, Fletcher Shears, but the two left in 2011 to start their own band: The Garden (still active). While a part of these groups, the brothers Shears have been pursuing their individual projects – Wyatt with Enjoy, and Fletcher with Puzzles. Enjoy’s 12th album, The Sound of Deceit, shows a mastery over the style he has been perfecting these past 15-or-so years
