Neutral Milk Hotel : The Discography

Legendary singer-songwriter and front man of the iconic indie-folk band Neutral Milk Hotel, Jeff Mangum is rereleasing the band’s discography on vinyl. The set will include every album and EP from the band, as well as previously rare 7” singles and unreleased music from the In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and On Avery Island era. A percentage of sales will benefit the non-profit organization Children of the Blue Sky.

Jeff Mangum has been keeping his fans in suspense for years with his unique voice and lyrics. Since his mysterious disappearance a decade ago, shortly after the release of the cult-classic album In the Aeroplane Over the Sea (which has inspired countless artists, including bands such as Arcade Fire, Franz Ferdinand, the Decemberists, Bon Iver, and more), Jeff has made few appearances.

In a shocking return early this year, Mangum announced a surprise summer/fall tour, and has since played shows all over the U.S. (even surprising protesters at Occupy Wall Street).

The discography will be released on November 22nd, with the unreleased tracks also available to download with a pay-what-you-want price tag.
