Blue Rose Riverfest Music & Arts Festival

A new music and arts festival is makes its debut in Tulsa on Saturday the 25th, and you can go for FREE. The Blue Rose Riverfest brings the community together through music, art, and eco-friendly activities. The fest , sponsored by River Parks Authority and other area businesses, celebrates Tulsa River Parks and takes place on Riverside Drive.

A mix of six nationally and locally known rock and indie bands take the stage from noon to midnight. Aranda headlines the festival; the rest of the lineup includes David Castro Band, FM Pilots, Able the Allies, We the Ghost, and Stephen Speaks.

Runners can take part in the Blue Rose Mile, sponsored by Tulsa Runner. This one-mile run takes participants along the River Parks Trail. People can run individually or as a team.

Parents are invited to bring their kids along, as there will be a Family Fun Zone with a water slide, inflatables, tye-dye stands, and art stations.

The Blue Rose Riverfest is also an eco-friendly event concentrated on recycling, using alternative energy, and having more electronic media rather than printed material. To learn more about this eco-friendly, artistic, and music festival, check THEIR WEBSITE.
