Fair season is in full swing, and that includes the 98th Annual Rogers County Fair. Starting Thursday, September 13th, fair goers can enjoy carnival rides, live music, and fair food at the Claremore Expo Center.
The fair features a variety of activities that the whole family can enjoy. The Expo Hall Market is the place to shop Friday and Saturday for homemade products and a variety of accessories. Many competitive events will take place throughout the fair, including arts, crafts, and livestock shows.
Anyone with kids can take them over to the Expo Lawn for Goat Roping during the first three days of the fair, along with the Kids Pedal Tractor Pull on Saturday in front of Expo Hall.
This year’s fair features live music from four bands throughout the weekend. Sam Cox Band performs Thursday evening, while Ricochet’s Heath Wright and the Hangmen perform Friday. Two shows wrap up Sunday’s festivities with performances by Bethany Grace and Gypsy Soul and Texaco Country Showdown.
Admission for the 98th Annual Rogers County Fair is free for everyone. For a full schedule of events, log on to ROGERSCOUNTYFAIR.COM.
