RSU to Recognize 2012 World Series Team Sunday

RSU’s 2012 NAIA World Series team will be recognized Sunday afternoon at the Diamond Sports Complex at approximately 3 p.m. The Hillcats played their best season in the program’s history last year by making their first appearance in the World Series.

“We are very proud of everything the baseball program accomplished last spring and the way they represented our institution on a national stage,” RSU Director of Athletics Ryan Bradley said. “We’d like to invite our community to come out to the ballpark Sunday and join us as we pay tribute to this special group of young men.”

The Hillcats will also play a double header beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday to open the new season.
