Cold Turkey Mountain Bike Festival
Despite all the bad weather recently, the Broken Arrow Arts & Humanities Council along with the BA Parks & Recreation department, will host the 2nd Annual “Chalk it Up!” June 7th and 8th.
This year’s festival will feature a variety of artists, entertainers and vendors in the recently appointed Rose District of downtown BA. Hours are Friday, June 7th from 8pm to 11pm and Saturday, June 8th from 7am to 5pm. The event is free and open to all ages.
The artists represent ages from 6 years old to adult with categories including Masters, Animation, 3-D and Artist’s Choice. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places as well as “Best of Show” and “People’s Choice” awards. Registration to compete is $20 with each artist receiving a festival t-shirt, chalk, water, lunch and a gift bag. For more information, www.facebook.com/ChalkItUpAnArtFestival.
