George Takei will perform with OKC Philharmonic

George Takei, best known for his portrayal of Mr. Sulu in the Star Trek franchise will be in Star Trek franchise will be in Oklahoma City this weekend for the OKC Philharmonic’s Pop series concert.

Takei will narrate the “Sci-Fi Spectacular” show that will feature music from popular science fiction soundtracks. Takei’s presence will work to enhance the music performed as well as present a draw to the public.

The show will be held Friday and Saturday night at the OKC Civic Center Music Hall.
