RSU offers “Stress Free” Alternatives thru Finals Week

todayDecember 1, 2013

Finals Week

As the end of the semester approaches at RSU, several student organizations are doing their best to offer their peers “comfort food and drink” through finals.

It all begins on Tuesday, December 3rd with “Free Hot Cocoa” at 11am in the Centennial Center Rotunda, sponsored by Christians in Action. Later that day, beginning at 5:30pm, it’s RSU’s annual campus lighting ceremony “Holiday on the Hill”. Meet on the front steps of Prepatory Hall and enjoy performances by the RSU and Claremore High School Choirs, the RSU Theatre program as well as appearances by Hunter the Hillcat and even Santa! And, then at 9pm, it’s “ALL YOU CAN EAT PANCAKES AND COFFEE!” at the Chi Alpha Pancake Feast across the street from the University Village B apartments at the Claremore Assembly of God. Cooking will be going on until 1am!

If pancakes aren’t your thing or you need to release some stress, RSU’s Campus Activities Team is sponsoring a “Late Night Breakfast” beginning at 10pm in the Centennial Center ballroom. Not only will there be free food there but also free entertainment with Hypnotist Josh McVicar. Make sure to bring your RSU student ID.

The Claremore Assembly of God’s student organization Chi Alpha, will be hosting their “Pancake Feast” not only on Tuesday, but also on Wednesday the 4th, Sunday the 8th and Monday, the 9th. Remember, this free event is from 9pm -1am!
