Foo Fighters back in the Studio

todayFebruary 1, 2014

Recording new album I

t’s back to the studio for the “Foo Fighters” as they get ready to record their 8th album. To date, they haven’t said much about the type of album it’s going to be. Guitarist and songwriter Dave Grohl says they’re going to do something different that no one really knows about and he hope this new concept is going to take people by surprise.

Grohl has hinted in previous interviews that the band is recording in a way that “no one’s ever done before.” Rumors that the group will hit 12 legendary studios in 12 different major cities and record one track at each location, is out even though it hasn’t been confirmed.

The “Foo Fighters” are scheduled to play in New York aboard a boat as part of the weekend festivities for the Super Bowl. And, in April, Grohl will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as the drummer for Nirvana.
