Two local musicians are raising money for a once in a lifetime trip to the United Kingdom. Daniel Jordan and Meggie McDonald are ambitious Tulsa singer/songwriters who play in venues all over the city. They have been presented with a chance to showcase their talents in the UK in hopes of broadening their audience.
James Bardell, a music blogger, aspiring writer and UK native currently living in Oklahoma, met the two musicians recently and offered them this rare opportunity. His goal is to raise awareness for the musically rich city of Tulsa and to further their musical careers. The three collaborators refer to this fundraising adventure as the ‘OK in the UK’.
They are seeking to raise $5,000.00. The amount will cover all expenses such as airfare, lodging, a per diem for the two, and promotion. They will begin with interviews and live shows on May 21st in London, England.
