RSU Radio Celebrates International Clash Day

The second annual International Clash Day will celebrate the historic punk rock and roll band The Clash. On Tuesday, February 7th radio stations, cities, and music fans will commemorate the influential group in their own ways. RSU Radio will join many others in this celebration by playing one Clash song every hour. Riot Radio will also join in by playing Clash and Joe Strummer songs, and talking about the band.

This event was initiated in Seattle in 2015. Non-commercial station KEXP and the City of Seattle came together to have the day officially recognized. This year, more stations and cities are getting involved including radio stations from Ireland, England, New Zealand, and all over the United States. You can learn more on the Facebook event page.
