Tom Boil – Everything Is Fine and That’s The Problem (EP)
Tom Boil quickly created a fan base with their first release earlier this month. Their EP, Everything Is Fine and That’s The Problem, is available on Bandcamp. What’s even better than being able to listen for free? If you purchase the EP, all proceeds made go to RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline. Their next show will be December 12 at Colorfeed A/V with Silhouette of Nude (Tokyo), Plastic Psalms, and BLURT.
Ken Pomeroy – Hallways (Album)
Pomeroy’s vocals perfectly carry her beautiful lyrics in this album. At just 16, the Folk Americana singer/songwriter has won awards such as the 1st Annual Jimmy LaFave Songwriting Contest in Stillwater and the Rising Star award from the Songwriters Association in Norman. She has also opened for Wanda Jackson at the Oklahoma Centennial Opry. Hallways is her second album.
Zunis – Earth to Self (EP)
This indie-psych rock trio from Tulsa released their long-awaited EP called Earth to Self. This EP is definitely something that you will want to keep on repeat for at least a week. You can catch Zunis live at their next show will be December 7 at Spinster Records during First Friday. Then they will be playing the next night, on December 8, at the Lukewarm Reunion Show at Chimera.
Mad Honey – “Cruel To Know” (Single)
Cruel to Know is just as smooth and dreamy as their first single, “Carole’s Slumber Party”. The latest single does have more energy than their debut release. Mad Honey’s two singles have their fan base very excited for an album in the possible future. Their next show will be December 7 at the Opolis in Norman with Spinster and Swim Fan.
