Tom Skinner Skyline Festival 2019

The Tom Skinner Skyline Festival celebrates red dirt, brotherhood, and the legacy of its namesake, Tom Skinner this weekend.  Sunday, August 18th, more than thirty local artists will gather to bring festival-goers a taste of classic Tulsa Sound.  Featured artists include Tom Skinner’s Science Band Project, Pilgrim, John Fullbright, Jesse Aycock, Casii Stephen, Kalyn Fay, and more.

This event will support Oklahoma artists in need; The Red Dirt Relief Fund is a non-profit organization that assists local musicians in times of emergency. This year, they have partnered with Tulsa Dental and Hideaway Pizza in their efforts to raise funds.

The day promises many fun surprises. Local musician John Fullbright is sharing the tales of his friendship with Skinner at a VIP brunch.  Artists are swapping songs early in the afternoon, then give way to full band performances as the day goes on.

The Tom Skinner Skyline Festival is happening at two locations in Tulsa: The Shrine and Mercury Lounge.  For more information, visit the facebook event page here.
