Will’s Country Christmas will be spreading holiday cheer this Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7. The White House where Will Rogers celebrated Christmas during his early childhood, as well as the ranch grounds, will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland. There will be a variety of entertainment from storytelling to Christmas music to hayrides and carriage rides. The hours of operation are from 5 to 9 p.m. each night.
Camel and pony rides, train and carriage rides, as well as 19th-century games are available for free. There will also be opportunities for holiday shopping with food trucks and vendors located on the grounds. The Wild West Hayride is a campfire-lit journey along the banks of the lake. This scenic hayride is available for $5 for those 15 or older. There will also be an opportunity for free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the room where Will Rogers was born. Attendees should bring their own camera for photographs.
