Supergroup Bonny Light Horseman stopped by Philadelphia’s WXPN on February 6th to perform for NPR’s World Cafe. The star power behind the folk trio includes Eric D. Johnson of Fruit Bats, multi-instrumentalist Josh Kaufman and Tony award-winning writer Anaïs Mitchell. Their performance included songs from their recent debut self-titled album. The self-titled album features reimagined traditional folk songs as well as original compositions for a fresh take on folk that doesn’t stray too far from its roots. Check out the band’s performance of tracks “Deep in Love” and “Jane Jane” below.
