RSU Radio Airing Special Holiday Programming

Background

RSU Radio is ringing in the holiday season with plenty of special goodies for your ears. Along with Christmas songs every hour, RSU Radio is also celebrating with holiday-themed programming on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The festivities begin this Friday at 1 PM with the “classic Christmas” edition of Radio Rewind. Caleb will be ending his Christmas music series with the songs you love most.

Later in the evening at 5 PM, DJ Sam will bring you fresh Alternative Rock during Fresh Fridays and guest-host Swoon City. At 7, It’s Kinda Late with Caden Coleman talks Christmas movies, fun games and a gift exchange that you don’t want to miss. End your Christmas Eve with one whole hour of sultry seasonal jazz during The Lounge at 8 PM. Maria will be playing Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and other huge hits of the holiday season.

Christmas kicks off with a sing-along during The Children’s Hour at 7 AM followed by Cherokee Sounds, Cherokee Voices. At 9 AM, the Christmas songs continue during the Hillcat Sockhop hosted by Rockin’ Gary. At 12 PM it’s a re-airing of Radio Rewind’s Christmas Classics followed by Audio Aftermath. Later on in the afternoon at 2 PM is the Christmas edition of Folk Alley where Elena See plays two hours of festive folk, roots, blues, bluegrass, and Americana.

Enjoy an hour of groovy Christmas music during Stuck in the Psychedelic Era at 4 PM. After that Reverend Dr. Ray will be rockin’ around the Christmas tree during Hi-Fi Heresy. The It’s Kinda Late Christmas episode will grace the airwaves again at 6 PM followed by another rendition of The Lounge Christmas Special at 7. Lastly, end your Christmas evening and get excited for the New Year with four hours of electronica during the Saturday Night Trip.
