Background

Jay Hancock aka Sweet Baby Jaysus has four eyes.

He once set a man’s hand on fire while interviewing him for a zine that at least fifteen people read. Over the years he has accepted hamburgers from members of DC Hardcore legends Minor Threat and Gray Matter. In 1996 he took The Bouncing Souls to Spaghetti Warehouse. Pretty sure they never came back to Tulsa after that.

One day decided to book Big Freedia at the Soundpony for his birthday, pictures have still not been released and somehow the pony wasn’t shut down. Nevertheless, it was sweaty and weird. There might have been crimes committed. I don’t know. I’m not Angela Lansbury and I’m not a snitch.

In his downtime he runs a YouTube channel dedicated to archiving punk and hardcore, reads a staggering amount of comics, and watches more wrestling than what should be humanly possible. He’s everything you never wanted and oh so much more.
