Hugh Foley

Having been in radio from 1977 through the present day as a disc-jockey, Announcer, Producer, Program Director, Account Executive, and General Manager, Dr. Hugh Foley initiated the current RSU college radio format and program schedule as a progressive college music rotation with specialty music shows in the evenings and on weekends.

He enjoys volunteering at the station and listening to the format be tweaked, revised and improved by successive generations of music directors, producers, and scheduling software geniuses.

Along with multiple commercial radio positions in New York, Connecticut, Georgia, and Oklahoma, he was also a Program Director at WNYU New York University, and WOTA at DeKalb Community College, as well as producing programs and features for WRFG (Radio Free Georgia) in Atlanta, and KALX in Berkeley, CA. He is currently the program director at KUSH-AM in Cushing, Oklahoma where he has worked since 1998.
