Aldean

Jason Aldean rocked a near capacity crowd at the BOK Center on Friday, May 10th that featured several number 1 songs, loud guitars; and an onslought of video screens that doled out imagery pertaining to each song. At the beginning of the show. A;dean entered the arena to the sounds of Audioslave’s “Cochise”, hinting at the audience that this is not your granddaddy’s country music show. Aldean roared into his first songs of the evening with up-tempo tracks such as “Crazy Town”, “Take A Little Ride”, and “Tattoos on This Town”. Next the Georgia native dug into his “Night Train” album with tracks like “When She Says Baby”, “Nothin’ Town” the number 1 hit “The Only Way I Know”, and the title track “Night Train” (which is destined to become another Aldean show staple). The night wouldn’t be complete without “1994”, which is a tribute to the 90s country super-star Joe Diffie. Aldean capped off the night with a crowd demanded encore of his first hit and the aptly named “Hick town”. All-in-all, great show from a soon to be country music icon
