Press Play: Ghost Beach

Ghost Beach is a unique electronic music duo comprised of Josh Ocean and Eric Mendelsohn. They incorporate soaring synths, guitars and harmonies which are heavily inspired by 80’s music. In fact, Mendelsohn admits that the group greatly enjoys writing pop music even though the sound that is coming out may be different. Their first full length album called Blonde was just released in early March and it is an upbeat, exciting, and fun project from beginning to end.

Their name, Ghost Beach, is actually taken from the popular children’s book series called Goosebumps. The Brooklyn, NY based duo just got done playing in the well-known South By Southwest Music Festival. They have also performed with artists like David Guetta, Vampire Weekend, Imagine Dragons, and even Robin Thicke. Be on the lookout for this duo to do big things in the music industry very soon.
