2012 CMJ College Radio Awards Nominees Announced!

Rogers State University’s radio station, RSU Radio 91.3 FM receives word that the station and it announcers have been nominated in the 2012 CMJ College Radio Awards. CMJ, which stands for College Music Journal, is an integrated marketing agency specializing in providing its clients access to the college and young adult demographic in the music world. Fine Arts Film: Katy Perry

The RSU Fine Arts Film series is back this Wednesday with a showing of “Katy Perry: Part of Me” at 7pm in the Will Rogers Auditorium. The movie is free and open to the public. The 2012 documentary showcases the career of pop star, Katy Perry as she travels on her world tour. Auditions for the new season of RSU Theatre are right around the corner. Aspiring actors should be at the Will Rogers Auditorium from 5-7 on August 20th and 21st prepared to have fun and read from some brand new plays. Reggae Fest in Review

After an 11 year hiatus, Tulsa’s original Reggaefest returned with an international lineup. Each day started out slow and hot, but the great music and atmosphere made it well worth the heat. The festival opened with locals Sam and the Stylees, The Rebellion, and Local Hero. The first of the headliners was Jamaican band The Itals.
