Wakarusa Music Festival Canceled in 2016

The Wakarusa music festival will not return in 2016. In an open letter posted to their Facebook page, the event’s organizers blamed dishonest partners on the demise of the festival. Oklahoma Well Represented at Folk Alliance International

The Oklahoma Room at Folk Alliance International has announced this year’s performances. The set of performances are curated by representative from Horton Records, the Woody Guthrie Center, and Tulsa radio program “Folk Salad”.
