8th Annual GC Classic Ranch Rodeo

The 8th annual Green Country Classic Ranch Rodeo has scheduled two days of packed events, April 26th and 27th at the Claremore Expo Center. The Cowboy Trade Show opens on Friday from 3pm to 10pm and Saturday from 9am to 10pm. It is free and open to the public. Friday night kicks off the GCCRR rodeo at 7pm and then again on Satufday at 6pm. Run for Charity: Water in Tulsa

Running and philanthropy will come together on Saturday the 23rd during Race for the Well at River West Festival Park in Tulsa. Race for the Well is kicking off its second year with a one-mile fun run at 4:30 in the afternoon, followed by 5K and 10K races at 5 pm. All proceeds from the race will benefit Charity: Water, a non-profit organization dedicated to building wells for safe drinking water in underprivileged countries. RSU Comm students receive honors

On Wednesday, all of RSU Radio’s student staff and a few others attended the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters and the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association student awards luncheon and ceremony in Oklahoma City at the Will Rogers Theatre. We attended a job fair where we were able to make a lot of great connections and also enjoyed a nice lunch and presentation from OKC Mayor Mick Cornett. RSU Theatre Presents First Performance of 2013

RSU Theatre is presenting its first performance of 2013 this Thursday and Friday with a reading of American Home. The play by Stephanie Alison Walker will be held in the Baird Hall Performance Studio on the 7th and 8th at 7:07 in the evening. American Home gives us a look into the lives of three people who are being affected by the looming economic crisis. KCACTF: David’s Take

Hey there David Prock here in Shreveport, LA with Josh and Garrett. We’ve had a great week taking part in Kennedy Center of American College Theatre Festival. Many have had the chance to participate in acting and directing workshops and we’ve seen a variety of productions with great performances. KCACTF: Performing & Performances

Hey everyone! Garrett, David and Josh here checking in from KCACTF. It’s been a full week, and now that our performances are all done, it’s been time to do some workshops and watch some really great plays. Wednesday night we performed David and Josh’s selected “Sleepy Hollow” scene at the beautiful Strand Theatre in front of many people. KCACTF: The Performances Begin

Garrett here from the “The Pelican” state, Louisiana. It’s day three for Josh, David, and I here at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and we’ve already done a lot. Yesterday was the first round of the Irene Ryan scholarship competition. The three of us performed, myself as a nominee and David and Josh as partners of Katie Hoffman and Hannah Westlund who were also nominated for the scholarship.
