Over two million lights adorn Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow every night through New Year’s Day. The annual extravaganza is a popular attraction for families, friends, and couples. Honor Heights Park in Muskogee is covered with Christmas spirit for the annual Garden of Lights. Trees, bushes, and wildlife are decorated with lights now until New Year’s Eve. Celebrating Dimebag Darrell

Tulsa celebrated the life of “Dimebag Darrell” with a tribute show Saturday, December 8th at Tankz in Tulsa. In case you were wondering, “Dime” was the guitarist of Pantera (later Damage Plan). He was shot and killed while performing on stage on December 8th, 2004. Since then, cities across the nation have celebrated his life on this day. To put it in perspective, think of “Dime” as the John Lennon to his genre of music. To my knowledge, Tulsa hasn’t had a tribute show done in Dime’s honor in the last 5 years.…continue reading →

Alternative Holiday Music is Here!!!

Now that we are in December, it is officially the season to be jolly. My favorite part of the holiday season is spending time with family, eating some great food, sitting next to the fire and listening to all the new Christmas albums. This year, there are many artists bringing all good tidings. From Gnarles Barkley, to judging on The Voice, Cee Lo Green is known for his catchy songs and eccentric style. You can expect both on “Cee Lo’s Magic Moment.” He’s also invited a few guests to share in the Holiday…continue reading →
