Cold Turkey Mountain Bike Festival
Saturday’s scheduled Easter Egg Hunt was cancelled due to early morning rains…but not to worry,the Easter Bunny and RSU’s Student Government Association are working together to get all 3,000 eggs hidden so they will be ready for all the fun on Saturday, April 6th at 11am. In addition to hunting for eggs, kids can also enjoy the carnival rides and prize raffles. This event is open to the public.
Check out what Rogers State University’s Fine Arts students have been up to during the annual Student Art Show inside Baird Hall’s Foundation Gallery. The show opens on Thursday the 28th. The show will feature a variety of artistic media including paint, graphic design, and photography. Artwork will be on display until April 15th. For more information, visit rsu.edu. The OK Blood Institute will be on campus Thursday, March 28th from 9am to 4pm in the Centennial Center, Ballroom B. The Easter Bunny is planning to visit the RSU campus as the university's Student Government Association plans their 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th. The 8th annual Green Country Classic Ranch Rodeo has scheduled two days of packed events, April 26th and 27th at the Claremore Expo Center. The Cowboy Trade Show opens on Friday from 3pm to 10pm and Saturday from 9am to 10pm. It is free and open to the public. Running and philanthropy will come together on Saturday the 23rd during Race for the Well at River West Festival Park in Tulsa. Race for the Well is kicking off its second year with a one-mile fun run at 4:30 in the afternoon, followed by 5K and 10K races at 5 pm. On Wednesday, all of RSU Radio’s student staff and a few others attended the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters and the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association student awards luncheon and ceremony in Oklahoma City at the Will Rogers Theatre.
