Rogers State University is building again…and this time, it’s a dining hall for students. The 17,000 square foot two-story building will include an open dining space with the capacity to serve up to 1,000 students. Saturday’s scheduled Easter Egg Hunt was cancelled due to early morning rains…but not to worry,the Easter Bunny and RSU’s Student Government Association are working together to get all 3,000 eggs hidden so they will be ready for all the fun on Saturday, April 6th at 11am. In addition to hunting for eggs, kids can also enjoy the carnival rides and prize raffles. This event is open to the public.
Check out what Rogers State University’s Fine Arts students have been up to during the annual Student Art Show inside Baird Hall’s Foundation Gallery. The show opens on Thursday the 28th. The show will feature a variety of artistic media including paint, graphic design, and photography. Artwork will be on display until April 15th. For more information, visit rsu.edu. The OK Blood Institute will be on campus Thursday, March 28th from 9am to 4pm in the Centennial Center, Ballroom B. The Easter Bunny is planning to visit the RSU campus as the university's Student Government Association plans their 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th. The 8th annual Green Country Classic Ranch Rodeo has scheduled two days of packed events, April 26th and 27th at the Claremore Expo Center. The Cowboy Trade Show opens on Friday from 3pm to 10pm and Saturday from 9am to 10pm. It is free and open to the public.
