The RSU Hillcats Men’s Basketball team took home the Heartland Conference regular season championship. The team sealed the league title with a win against Dallas Baptist on Monday night.. RSU Athletics Update

RSU baseball players, Andrew Vanisi and Blake Gipson, continue to rack up post-season honors. Vansisi was named Heartland Conference Newcomer of the Year, and was also named to the All-Conference first team as an outfielder. Vanisi led the Heartland conference in home runs with 12, and finished with a strong .373 batting average. During the month of February Hillcat athletes have acquired several accolades. J.C. Hartzler  received the honor of being selected for the Capitol One All-District Men’s basketball team. The junior guard leads the Hillcats in scoring by averaging 14.6 points per game and carries a 3.8 grade point average while majoring in Applied Technology.
