The rains cancelled the West Bend Block Party on the Greens in Claremore for May but everything is up and running for this month's event, scheduled for Tuesday, June 16th. The featured bands include "Panhandle" and "FM Pilots" with everything kicking off at 6pm at the Claremore Expo Center. Bring the entire family for an evening of great local entertainment, vendors, games and LOTS OF FOOD TRUCKS! Modest Mouse Announce OK Tour Date, Share New Song

Modest Mouse have announced a number of tour dates for their upcoming tour, which supports their new album Strangers to Ourselves, the band's first album release since 2007. The popular Seattle indie group will be in Oklahoma City on April 24th at the Diamond Ballroom. Their last tour stop in Oklahoma was in 2009, which was also at the Diamond Ballroom. The new album is due out March 17th. Ratatat Announce Tulsa Stop on 2015 US Tour

  Brooklyn's indie-electro-loop-rockers Ratatat have announced a U.S. tour, which includes an Oklahoma stop. The outing begins in Tulsa on April 4 and work it's way to Coachella in California, Primavera in Spain, and Governor's Ball in New York City. The Brady Theater will host the tour's local stop. Information from Ratatat calls the venue "Club Brady", but The Brady Theater has confirmed the show via its website. Indie rock legends, Sleater-Kinney make a triumphant return to the alternative rock scene with their new album, No Cities To Love. The all female band consists of Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein, who play the guitar and sing, along with Janet Weiss on the drums. Many will recognize Brownsein from the hit television comedy, Portlandia, that she not only starred in from 2011-2015, but also co-created with Saturday Night Live alumnus Fred Armisen. Alternative rock group Dorothy, which hails from Los Angeles, California, released their debut EP in December of 2014.
