Finally, A Rock Concert on Campus!

Students Kalyn Barnoski and Brandon Irby are bringing a new aspect of music and art culture to Rogers State University by hosting an outdoor concert on campus. The “Farewell Show” will be held on Thursday, May 3 beginning at 7:00pm at the amphitheater in the RSU Educational Nature Reserve located on the Claremore campus. All students, faculty and staff along with members of the community are invited to attend. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. RSU Choir: Spring is in the Air!

Spring is in the air, and so are the talented voices of the Rogers State University Choir. You can hear these talented vocalists at “Swing into Spring: A Choral Concert” on Tuesday the 24th at 7:30 in RSU’s Baird Hall Performance Studio. Concert goers can expect to hear a variety of music including jazz and swing. That’s Right, a Womanless Beauty Pageant

On April 26th at 7:00 PM Alpha Sigma Tau hosts the annual Womanless Beauty Pageant. That’s right, a womanless beauty pageant. Only male RSU students are allowed to participate, provided they dress like women. All make-up and various other supplies are provided for the men who participate. Admission is $3 and the event is open to the public. Proceeds from the event go towards funding AST’s trip to the National Alpha Sigma Tau Convention and to help fund various events they host throughout the year.
