Supergroup Diamond Rugs showcase talented musicians from many well known bands. They are comprised of singer/songwriter John McCauley and keyboardist Robbie Crowell of Deer Tick, guitarists Ian St. Pe of The Black Lips and Hardy Morris of Dead Confederate, as well as Steve Berlin of Los Lobos and Bryan Dufresne of Six Finger Satellite. During the month of February Hillcat athletes have acquired several accolades. J.C. Hartzler  received the honor of being selected for the Capitol One All-District Men’s basketball team. The junior guard leads the Hillcats in scoring by averaging 14.6 points per game and carries a 3.8 grade point average while majoring in Applied Technology.
