Japanese band Peelander Z has been tearing up the punk scene for almost a decade, performing at major festivals such as CMJ, Bonnaroo, and SXSW with acts such as Buckethead and the Electric Six. Scottish post-rock icons Mogwai release their newest EP, titled Earth Division. Formed in 1995 in Glasgow, Mogwai has been one of the most important figures in the genre for over a decade. No, The Muppets are not covering Weezer’s 2001 album release. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Artists, including Weezer, My Morning Jacket, Sondre Lerche and OK GO have come together to revive many of the Muppets classic songs. RSU is tuning up for a new year and seeking out members for the concert band.
