Foodies in the Tulsa area can rejoice as the first-ever Eat Street Food Truck Festival arrives in downtown Tulsa on Saturday from 11 to 10. Hillcat Basketball is back on RSU Radio

Hillcat basketball is back, and you can hear the games right here on RSU Radio! The season officially begins October 30th, with the men’s team taking on Central Baptist at the Claremore Expo Center. The women play at the University of Tulsa on Halloween night. Both games begin at 7:00P. Homecoming is set for November 10th with the women and men taking on Northwestern Oklahoma State at 2 and 4, respectively. October is a month full of frightful fun, and if you’re really ready for a scare you can enter The Asylum, a haunted attraction in Nowata. The Asylum has a dark history that revolves around a 1940s sanitarium. Many details surrounding a horrific fire within the sanitarium have been left unknown…until now. Art on the Hill Returns to RSU

The third annual Art on the Hill is returning to Rogers State University this Friday and Saturday (Sept. 28-29). From art demonstrations to concerts and plays, there are a variety of activities at this year’s event. Art on the Hill will feature exhibits of original artwork by area artists, as well as high school and college students. Professors from RSU’s Fine Arts Department will be presenting art demonstrations, including screen printing, wheel-throwing, solar printing, and clay hand building. RSU Theatre Returns with ‘Original Recipe’

You can see what the RSU Theatre Program has been up to as Original Recipe opens Thursday and runs through Saturday. Original Recipe is a series of five ten-minute plays that are written, directed, or performed by RSU students and faculty. “Dave and Marsha,” a play written by Will Hedgecock of Edison Preparatory School in Tulsa, stars Andrew Grimes and Katie Hoffman as a man and a woman who are trapped in a room. Fair season is in full swing, and that includes the 98th Annual Rogers County Fair. Starting Thursday, September 13th, fair goers can enjoy carnival rides, live music, and fair food at the Claremore Expo Center. Growing Greek Life at RSU

Rogers State University is growing and so is Greek Life. Since RSU’s first Greek organization in 2005, the number of sororities and fraternities on RSU’s campus has grown to two each. All four organizations are dedicated to hard work and community service. Alpha Sigma Tau and Alpha Sigma Alpha Sororities have been involved in various school events and community service projects since being chartered in 2005 and 2009, respectively. If you’ve ever wanted to ride in a hot air balloon, now’s your chance! The Gatesway Foundation Balloonfest is on its way to Will Rogers Downs in Claremore for its seventeenth year. RSU Radio's Josh Gammon will announce the activities during the 3-day event.
