Can you imagine driving a car like this? Let alone, winning something like this? Well, one lucky person will drive this beauty away after winning it at the RSU Foundation Scholarship Auction. The raffle tickets are $100 each with only 500 chances, so your odds are good if you purchase a ticket before May 15th. The sticker price for his new Mustang is $25,485.

Tickets can be purchased at the RSU Development office or by contacting Tonni Harrald at 918-343-7767 or tharrald@rsu.edu. Tickets will also be available for sale from any RSU Foundation board member or auction committee member. The winning ticket will be drawn during the scholarship auction and the winner does not need to be present to win.

This year’s theme is “Saddle Up for Scholarships” scheduled for Thursday, May 15, on the lawn adjacent to the Centennial Center. The western-themed event will feature silent and live auctions, a barbecue dinner and musical entertainment from Camille and Haley Harris. News on 6 anchor Lori Fullbright will emcee the event, and Rick Reimer will serve as the auctioneer.

This marks the 10th anniversary for the auction, which has helped raise nearly $500,000 for unrestricted scholarships to help RSU students attend school and achieve their educational goals. Cost for the auction and dinner is $50 per person, or $500 will reserve a table for eight.
