Press Play: Vetiver

Folk rock band, Vetiver is set to release their latest album on March 24th called, Complete Strangers. They are no strangers to college music radio, however. This is their sixth full length album since 2004. While they always stay true to their indie folk roots, every recording presents some sort of new harmony for their fans to enjoy. Relaxing soft rock is the theme for this work.   

Vetiver is a creation of singer/songwriter Andy Cabic, who formed the group in San Francisco, CA in 2002. He wrote all songs for Complete Strangers, as he has with previous Vetiver efforts, and is the only constant of the group. While members come and go from album to album, Cabic is always their to write and perform. 

They will be embarking on a 10 show tour in early May that has them hitting major U.S. cities like NYC, Chicago and Denver. They will close out the month with shows in Spain and Portugal. If you can’t make one of those shows, just tune into RSU Radio where we will be playing the best songs from Vetiver’s latest piece, Complete Strangers.
