Cody on moving to NYC (blog 4)

Misconceptions (The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place) As a follow-up to my advice post about living in NYC, I felt the need to throw in some more personal advice to anyone seriously considering moving to a city like NYC. The old saying “if I can do it, so can you” has never rang more true than with me, since living here isn’t as different or difficult as one may think, and this is coming from a guy that spent most of his teenage life on a farm. Cody Goes to NYC (Blog 1)

Hello. It’s me, Cody. Let me start this by saying that I am the last person you would expect to see living in New York City. Born in Texas, I spent my teenage years on a farm in Pawnee, Oklahoma. I own cattle. Shoutouts to anyone from a big city that has never seen a cow. Over the past couple…continue reading →

This time around, the Cribs take bar-room ballads, charming…continue reading →

From his stance on gay marriage to his views on Obama’s origins, the frontman has never shied away from giving his opinion. His opinion, however, has sparked the disapproval of Gwar’s Oderus Urungus, who recently spoke with our own Turbo of the Metal Meltdown at their recent Tulsa show. “Shut the **** up, Dave, shut the **** up,” said Urungus, going on a minute-plus-long expletive-filled rant on the Metal celebrity. To see the footage of…continue reading →
