Currently working out of Denver, Colorado, Montropo, brings a smooth, well-developed sound to the airwaves of RSU Radio. Montropo is the stage name for Andres Diaz, a singer/songwriter who grew up in Austin, TX. Diaz moved to Denver in order to hone his musical sound. His debut album, "Follow Me", is reminiscent of the powerful folk songs from the 1960s. Modest Mouse Announce OK Tour Date, Share New Song

Modest Mouse have announced a number of tour dates for their upcoming tour, which supports their new album Strangers to Ourselves, the band's first album release since 2007. The popular Seattle indie group will be in Oklahoma City on April 24th at the Diamond Ballroom. Their last tour stop in Oklahoma was in 2009, which was also at the Diamond Ballroom. The new album is due out March 17th. RSU Basketball Closes Out the Season

This Saturday February 28th is your final chance to watch a Women’s RSU basketball game, and Monday is your final chance to see the men play. Both teams take on UA- Fort Smith in the final Heartland Conference double header of the season starting at 1pm this Saturday. The game will be the final one for seniors such as: Mikaila Newton, Jade Hardy, and Breanna Burford. Saturday will also be bobble-head giveaway night at the Claremore Expo. Ratatat Announce Tulsa Stop on 2015 US Tour

  Brooklyn's indie-electro-loop-rockers Ratatat have announced a U.S. tour, which includes an Oklahoma stop. The outing begins in Tulsa on April 4 and work it's way to Coachella in California, Primavera in Spain, and Governor's Ball in New York City. The Brady Theater will host the tour's local stop. Information from Ratatat calls the venue "Club Brady", but The Brady Theater has confirmed the show via its website. Backwoods Music Festival Announces Initial Lineup

It is never too early to start thinking about music festivals. One of Oklahoma's fine fests, Backwoods Music Festival, formerly known as Backwoods Bash has announced the first round of artists. Backwoods is a three day event that happens in Agra, Oklahoma from September 4th through 6th. The festival has been held in various locations over the past six years.
