The Black Keys are back with a brand new album. Turn Blue, which was released May 12th, is the third top 10 album for the duo on the Billboard 200 chart. In fact, Turn Blue beat out the new Michael Jackson record for number one. There is something for old and new fans to love on this album. The Black Keys keep their signature style but experiment sonically throughout the record which makes for a unique and familiar sound.

The record is mid tempo, moody, catchy, and soulful at times. The duo recently performed on the Letterman Show and gave an energetic performance featuring their song “Fever”. The hooks are as catchy as ever. “Turn Blue” has the rawness that old fans love with some new elements that the casual listener can get excited about as well.
