  Let the Good Times Roll, J.D. McPherson’s most recent album, is quite appropriately titled. Set to be released on February 10th, the record has an extremely diverse sound. It ranges from true rock and roll, to rhythm and blues, to what McPherson is well known for, that rockabilly sound of the 1950s. Indie rock legends, Sleater-Kinney make a triumphant return to the alternative rock scene with their new album, No Cities To Love. The all female band consists of Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein, who play the guitar and sing, along with Janet Weiss on the drums. Alternative rock group Dorothy, which hails from Los Angeles, California, released their debut EP in December of 2014. While it only contains five songs, each one of them boasts stellar guitar riffs, bold drum patterns and strong vocals from their female lead singer who the band is named after.
